The Indian Railways has decided to reduce the fares of AC chair cars and executive classes of all trains, including Vande Bharat Express, and those with Anubhuti and Vistadome coaches, by up to 25%, depending on occupancy.

As per an order from the Railways, a maximum discount of 25% will be applied to the base fare. Additional fees such as reservation charges, super-fast surcharges, GST, etc., will be imposed separately, where applicable. The discount may be offered in one or multiple classes based on the occupancy.
The classes with occupancy less than 50% (either end-to-end or in some specified legs depending upon the sections where the discount is to be provided) during the last 30 days will be taken into consideration.
The discount will be implemented with immediate effect. However, no refund of fare will be admissible for already booked passengers.
