Railways to restore several trains ahead of festive rush!

The Indian Railways has been taking many important steps in order to ensure that passengers have a safe, secure and comfortable travel experience during the festive season.

The Railways has announced the restoration of many services on major routes. Today, we bring you some important updates regarding the latest train services so that you can easily plan your journey.

Search Trains

> The Eastern Railway has decided to restore services of certain trains including Jhansi – Kolkata, Kolkata – Jhansi,  New Delhi – Malda Town, Malda Town – New Delhi,  Kolkata – Amritsar, Amritsar – Kolkata, etc. which were cancelled earlier due to expected foggy weather.

> The South Eastern Railway restored regular run of train nos. 13320/13319 Ranchi – Deoghar – Ranchi Express with extension up to Dumka. The restoration came into effect on 4th March from Ranchi and on 5th March onwards from Dumka. The main stoppages include Basukinath, Ghormara, Deoghar, Jasidih, Kumrabad Rohini, Sankarpur, Madhupur, etc.

> Restoration of MEMU trains

  • Train nos. 08659/08658 Adra – Asansol – Adra daily MEMU Passenger Special has been restored w.e.f. 5th March.
  • Howrah – Ghatsila – Howrah daily (except Saturdays) MEMU Express has been restored w.e.f. Today i.e. 6th March.
