Several Special Trains Started by Indian Railways

In a bid to cater to the rush that’s expected in the upcoming festival season, the Indian Railways has announced a number of special trains. These services will ensure easy availability of train tickets booking and will further help passengers to commute easily.

Here is the list –

1> Update by North Eastern Railway

Starting from 10th September, the Okha–Varanasi–Okha Weekly Superfast Express (22969/22970) will operate from Banaras. According to a North Eastern Railway spokesperson, it has been decided that the terminal station of both these trains will be Banaras instead of Varanasi.

2> Update by East Central Railway

The East Central Railway has informed passengers about a special train that will run between Dibrugarh and Jammu Tawi.
Train no. 05912 Dibrugarh–Jammu Tawi Special will depart from Dibrugarh at 6 PM on 4th September, and will reach its destination at 9:10 PM on 6th September.

3> Update by the West Central Railway

For the convenience of the passengers, the West Central Railway has announced four Pitrapaksh Special trains. These services will run on two routes: Rani Kamalapati–Gaya and Jabalpur–Gaya.

4> Update by Western Railway

The Western Railway has decided to extend the trips of two Janmashtami Special trains between Ahmedabad and Okha.
Train no. 09435 will run every Saturday from 3rd September to 22nd October. Train no. 09436 will similarly run every Sunday from 4th September to 23rd October.
