Singapore removes quarantine upon arrival for vaccinated Indians

Here is some good news!

Singapore is opening ‘Vaccinated Travel Lanes’ for five countries, including India, Finland, Indonesia, Malaysia and Sweden starting 29th November SGT (Singapore Time). These VTL (Vaccinated Travel Lanes) will allow international fliers to enter the country without undergoing mandatory quarantine.

Here is a tweet confirming the same —

The aim of the Vaccinated Travel Lanes is to open up Singapore gradually and “revive air travel safely without compromising public health”.

Though the Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) allows quarantine-free travel to Singapore, there are some rules that still need to be followed.

Conditions of the Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL)

1– A VTL traveller must be fully vaccinated and should have valid proof of vaccination issued in any VTL country/region or Singapore. Covishield and Covaxin both are approved for travel to Singapore.
2– Should have only travelled to/transited via any VTL countries/regions for the last 14 days before departing for Singapore.
3– Travel to Singapore on a designated VTL flight.
4– Undergo a COVID-19 PCR test or Antigen Rapid Test (ART) within two days before the scheduled departure time of his/her flight.
5– Undergo a COVID-19 PCR test at the airport upon arrival in Singapore, and immediately take private transportation, taxi, or private hire car from the airport to the place of accommodation as declared in the VTL application and remain isolated at the place of accommodation until the on-arrival test result is confirmed to be negative.

For detailed information on this, please refer to our COVID-19 Guidelines Page.
