Switzerland reopens for fully vaccinated Indians; Air Bubble between India and Qatar extended!

> The travellers from India can rejoice as Switzerland will now allow fully vaccinated tourists into its border. The government’s Federal Council of Public Health has informed that persons from third countries like India, who have been vaccinated with CHE, EU and WHO recognized vaccines (Covishield), will be permitted entry without the need for a negative test or quarantine.

> The ministry of Tourism, Maldives, announced that the island nation will start issuing on arrival tourist visas starting 15th July to tourists travelling from South Asia. Tourists require a negative PCR result to enter Maldives. They also stated that further details will be shared soon. The authorities had halted issuing visas to travellers from South Asia on May 11, as the Covid-19 situation worsened in the country.

> To continue the flight operations under the central government’s Vande Bharat Mission, the air bubble agreement between Qatar and India has been extended till July 31, 2021. Indian Embassy announced the resumption of flights under this arrangement on its official twitter handle.
