Do I Need a Voltage Converter in Solomon Islands?

Solomon Islands runs on a main voltage of 220 volts at a frequency of 50 Hz. This is effectively the same as India's 230V/50Hz. You can plug any Indian device into a Solomon Islands socket without a voltage converter, as long as the plug shape fits.

Will my Indian charger work in Solomon Islands?

Your charger will work, but only with a plug adapter. Solomon Islands uses Type G and I sockets at 220V/50Hz. Your Indian phone and laptop chargers are dual-voltage (the label reads 100–240V), so they handle Solomon Islands voltage without any issue. The only question is plug shape — your Indian plug will not fit Type G and I sockets at all, so you must carry a travel adapter. You do not need a voltage converter — Solomon Islands's 220V is the same as India's 230V.
