West Bengal Lockdown: No Flight Operations At Kolkata Airport For 7 Days In August

To contain the spread of COVID-19, West Bengal government has announced a complete lockdown twice a week till August 31.

Amid the total lockdown, flight operations at Kolkata’s Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport will remain cancelled for 7 days in August.

As announced by the government, flight operations at this airport will remain suspended on 5th, 8th, 16th, 17th, 23rd, 24th and 31st August 2020. All passengers are requested to contact the concerned airlines for any changes in the flight schedule.

Additionally, the West Bengal government had suspended flights from 6 high-risk cities, namely Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Nagpur & Ahmedabad till July 31. However, as the coronavirus cases are rising, this has been extended till August 15.
