IRCTC Update: 32 trains cancelled, 6 diverted due to these reasons

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced the cancellation and diversion of several trains.

These trains ply on important routes such as Bengaluru – Guwahati, Coimbatore – Silchar, Secunderabad – Yesvantpur and Kamakhya – Udaipur. 

The Indian Railways has advised passengers to make a note of the affected trains so as to avoid any problems while travelling.

A) Due to pre-non-interlocking/non-interlocking work for Ph-1 at Hindupur and Ph-3 work at Devarapalli for commissioning of doubling between Yelahanka  – Penukonda section many trains are cancelled, partially cancelled and diverted.

The list of cancelled trains are:

> Train no.06595 Bengaluru Cantonment  – Dharmavaram MEMU has been cancelled from 6th October to 20th November.

> Train no.06596 Dharmavaram – Bengaluru Cantonment MEMU has been cancelled from 6th October to 20th November.

> Train no.06265 Yesvantpur – Hindupur MEMU has been cancelled from 6th October to 20th November.

> Train no.06266 Hindupur – Yesvantpur MEMU has been cancelled from 7th October to 21st November.

> Train no.07693 Guntakal – Hindupur DEMU has been cancelled from 6th October to 20th November.

> Train no.07694 Hindupur – Guntakal DEMU has been cancelled from 7th October to 21st November.

> Train no.06566 Yesvantpur – Banaswadi MEMU has been cancelled from 7th October to 21st November.

> Train no.07211 Machilipatnam – Yesvantpur Express Special has been cancelled on 8th, 15th, 17th and 19th November.

> Train no.07212 Yesvantpur – Machilipatnam Express Special has been cancelled on 9th, 16th, 18th and 20th November.

> Train no.01312 Solapur – Hassan Special has been cancelled from 16th to 19th November.

> Train no.01312 Hassan – Solapur Special has been cancelled from 17th to 20th November.

> Train no.02735 Secunderabad – Yesvantpur Express Special has been cancelled on 17th and 19th November.

> Train no.02736 Yesvantpur – Secunderabad Express Special has been cancelled on 18th and 20th November.

> Train no.07603 Kacheguda – Yelahanka Express Special has been cancelled on 8th, 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th November.

> Train no.07604 Yelahanka – Kacheguda Express Special has been cancelled on 9th, 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th November.

B) In order to enhance the safety standards, the Northern Railway has short terminated/short originated/regulated several trains.

c) The South Eastern Railway recently announced the cancellation of several trains due to developmental work in the Alipurduar Division.

> Train no.02509 Bengaluru – Guwahati Special has been cancelled for 7th and 8th October.

> Train no.02514 Guwahati – Secunderabad Special has been cancelled for 7th October.

> Train no.05630 Silghat – Tambaram Special has been cancelled for 8th October.

> Train no.05644 Kamakhya – Puri Special has been cancelled for 7th October.

> Train no.02515 Coimbatore – Silchar Special has been cancelled for 10th October.

> Train no.07029 Agartala – Secunderabad Special has been cancelled for 8th October.

> Train no.05488 Agartala – Bengaluru Cantt. Special has been cancelled for 9th October.

> Train no.05622 Anand Vihar – Kamakhya Special has been cancelled for 8th October.

> Train no.05621 Kamakhya – Anand Vihar Special has been cancelled for 7th October.

> Train no.05654 Jammu Tawi – Guwahati Amarnath Special has been cancelled for 8th October.

> Train no.09710 Kamakhya – Udaipur Special has been cancelled for 7th October.
