Another chance for students who missed NEET due to 8-Hour Train Delay

According to Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD) Prakash Javadekar, aspiring doctors from Karnataka who had missed the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) due to a train delay on Sunday will get another chance for the same.

Train 16591 Hampi Express, which was scheduled to reach Bengaluru at 6:10 AM, reached the station at 2:36 PM (more than 8 hours after its scheduled time of arrival).


Note:
The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) for these students will now be conducted on 20th May.


Reason of the delay:
According to railway officials, the train was delayed due to the maintenance work going on in Guntakal in South Central division.
