Flyers, attention, please!
Flying to the City of Gold, Dubai, soon? Then, here’s some important news for you.
One of the world’s busiest airports, Dubai International Airport (DXB), is currently undergoing maintenance on its northern runway. The work began on 9th May and will continue until 22nd June. As a result, the flight operations at the airport are now limited to a single runway.

The airport has made the necessary arrangements to ensure minimum disruption to the guests during these 45 days. More than 1000 flights per week are now being diverted to Dubai World Central (DWC)—Al Maktoum International Airport—and Sharjah International Airport.
The majority of diverted flights from India are being operated by Air India Express, IndiGo, SpiceJet and Flydubai. Passengers are advised to contact their respective airlines to know which airport their flight will be arriving at.
