The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has recently announced several special trains on popular routes to clear the extra rush of passengers ahead of the festive season.

Here are the details:

Gorakhpur – Ernakulam – Gorakhpur

> Train no. 05303 Gorakhpur – Ernakulam Puja Special train will operate from Gorakhpur on 30th October, 06th and 13th November.

> Train no. 05304 Ernakulam – Gorakhpur Puja Special train will operate from Ernakulam on 1st, 8th and 15th November.

Visakhapatnam – Secunderabad Visakhapatnam

> Train no. 08585 Visakhapatnam – Secunderabad will run on 2nd November at 5.35 pm.

> Train no. 08586 Secunderabad – Visakhapatnam will commence its journey on 3rd November at 9.05 pm.

Visakhapatnam – Tirupati – Visakhapatnam

> Train no. 08583 Visakhapatnam –  Tirupati will run on 1st November at 7.15 pm.

> Train no. 08584 Tirupati –  Visakhapatnam will commence its journey on 2nd November at 9.55 pm.


Pune – Bhagat Ki Kothi – Pune

> Train no. 01249 Pune – Bhagat Ki Kothi Special will depart from Pune every Friday at 08:10 pm and reach Bhagat Ki Kothi at 07:55 pm the next day. This festival special train will run till 19th November.

> Train no. 01250 Bhagat Ki Kothi – Pune Special will depart from Bhagat Ki Kothi every Saturday at 10:20 pm and reach Pune at 07:05 pm the next day. This festival special train will run till 20th November.

Durg – Patna – Durg

> Train no. 08893 Durg – Patna Chhath Puja Special will commence its journey at 7th November at 8:50 pm.

> Train no. 08894 Patna – Durg Chhath Puja Special will commence its journey at 8th November at 7:00 pm.

Keeping the demand of the passengers in view, the Northern Railway has announced 28 festival special trains.
