More Than 30 Trains Cancelled and Diverted Due to Maintenance Work; Check the Complete List Here

In order to upgrade the infrastructure and enhance the safety standards, the Indian Railways will be undertaking maintenance work in several zones throughout February.

Due to this, certain train services will be cancelled, diverted and partially cancelled on select dates. The national transporter has released the complete schedules of these affected trains.

Train cancellation and diversion by the North Western Railways

The North Western Railways, primarily catering to the states of Rajasthan, Gujarat, Punjab and Haryana, has cancelled six trains and diverted eight others due to non-interlocking work being undertaken between Yelahanka and Makalidurga railway stations. 

Cancelled trains

> Train no. 02976 Jaipur – Mysuru Special has been cancelled till 22.02.21.

> Train no. 02975 Mysuru – Jaipur Special has been cancelled from 13.02.21 till 25.02.21.

> Train no. 06507 Jodhpur – Bengaluru Special has been cancelled on 18.02.21 and 20.02.21.

> Train no. 06508 Bengaluru – Jodhpur Special has been cancelled on 15.02.21 and 17.02.21.

> Train no. 06209 Ajmer – Mysuru Special has been cancelled on 19.02.21 and 21.02.21.

> Train no. 06210 Mysuru – Ajmer Special has been cancelled on 16.02.21 and 18.02.21.

Diverted trains

> Train no. 02975 Mysuru – Jaipur Special will be diverted via Bengaluru – Yesvantpur – Tumkur – Arsikere – Chikjajur – Raidurg – Bellary – Guntakal on 11.02.21.

> Train no. 06205 Bengaluru – Ajmer Special will be diverted via Yesvantpur – Tumkur – Arsikere – Chikjajur – Raidurg – Bellary – Guntakal on 13.02.21.

> Train no. 04805 Yesvantpur – Barmer Special will be diverted via Davangere – Amaravathi Colony – Kotturu – Hosapete – Gadag on 22.02.21.

> Train no. 04806 Barmer – Yesvantpur Special will be diverted via Gadag – Hosapete – Kotturu – Amaravathi Colony – Davangere on 18.02.21.

> Train no. 06587 Yesvantpur – Bikaner Special will be diverted via Davangere – Amaravathi Colony – Kotturu – Hosapete – Gadag on 19.02.21 and 21.02.21.

> Train no. 06588 Bikaner – Yesvantpur Special will be diverted via Gadag – Hosapete – Kotturu – Amaravathi Colony – Davangere on 16.02.21 and 21.02.21.

> Train no. 06206 Ajmer – Bengaluru Special will be diverted via Pabai – Daund – Kurduvadi – Solapur – Wadi – Guntakal on 22.02.21.

> Train no. 06533 Jodhpur – Bengaluru Special will be diverted via Pabai – Daund – Kurduvadi – Solapur – Wadi – Guntakal on 17.02.21.

Trains cancelled by the North Eastern Railways

The North Eastern Railways has also cancelled two trains due to ongoing farmers’ protests in Punjab. Here are their details:

> Train no. 05211 Darbhanga – Amritsar Special is cancelled on 11.01.21.

> Train no. 05212 Amritsar – Darbhanga Special is cancelled on 13.01.21.

Trains partially/fully cancelled and diverted by the South Western Railways

Due to maintenance in connection with Hubballi yard remodeling, the South Western Railways has fully cancelled six trains and partially cancelled six others on various dates. The railway zone, which primarily caters to Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Goa and Tamil Nadu, has also diverted 10 special trains. Check the full schedule of the affected trains below:
