Travelling to Qatar for the FIFA World Cup? Then, here’s some good news for all you football fans.

As of 1st November, i.e., today, visitors no longer need to produce negative PCR or Rapid Antigen Test reports before travelling to Qatar. They are also not required to pre-register themselves on the Etheraz app prior to their arrival. It is, however, still mandatory for individuals to present their health status on the Etheraz app when entering healthcare facilities.

Citizens and residents of Qatar are exempt from taking COVID-19 tests post their arrival in the country.

The World Cup host had dropped the quarantine requirement earlier, but the travellers who test positive after arriving will have to undergo self-isolation as per the measures laid down by the authorities.
