Solo Traveller • Feb 2026Worst Experience ’ Very Disappointing StayI had a terrible experience at Agarwal Residency.I arrived at the hotel at 10:15 pm. The desk boy simply handed me the key and asked me to go to the 4th floor, with no one to escort or guide me, which itself felt unprofessional.When I entered the room, the condition was shocking. The bedsheet, pillow cover, and blanket were dirty and stained. The bedsheet wasn’t even placed properly. There were food stains on the table, clearly showing the room hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guest.I went down to complain, but the desk boy bluntly said, ’I can’t do anything, talk to the owner.’ This was the attitude and behavior I received’completely irresponsible and rude.After some time, a staff member came upstairs to change the stained linen. When I checked, he had only changed the pillow cover. When I removed the blanket, I again found a stained bedsheet with hair and food crumbs on it. I had to request yet again before it was finally changed properly.On top of all this, there was no water bottle in the room, and I had to ask separately for that too.Overall, hygiene standards are extremely poor, and the staff is neither polite nor attentive. This hotel needs serious improvement in cleanliness, staff training, and basic hospitality. I would not recommend this place to anyone
