The rooms were not clean, electricity was not working, and washrooms were very filthy and disgusting.

Couple • India • Jul 2026The hotel is in an excellent location, just a short walk from RK Beach, which is its biggest advantage. However, my overall experience was disappointing due to poor maintenance and hygiene. The rooms did not match the photos shown online. There were cockroaches and termites inside the room, including around the chairs, sofa, and bathroom. There was also a noticeable termite smell right from the hotel entrance. The bathroom walls looked like they had not been cleaned properly for a long time. The toilet seat was in very poor condition. The screws were missing, so the seat kept moving whenever someone sat on it, making it uncomfortable and unsafe to use. The sofa upholstery was also loose, making it uncomfortable to sit. The hotel staff were polite and helpful, but since this is a Treebo chain hotel, I expected much better standards of cleanliness and maintenance. We had already paid the full amount in advance, so we adjusted and stayed. It was also disappointing that the hotel charged extra even for a 6-hour early check-in. This hotel has the potential to be one of the best budget stays because of its prime location near RK Beach in Visakhapatnam. However, the management needs to focus on proper hygiene, regular pest control, timely repairs, and overall maintenance to provide a better guest experience. My final advice is to visit the hotel and inspect the room before booking. Don't rely solely on the photos shown online, as they do not accurately reflect the current condition of the property. If possible, check the room first before making the payment to avoid disappointment.
