All Seasons Guest House Bogmalo

I wish I had shared this review earlier. We spent three nights here in November 2023 during our first visit to Goa. The hotel is situated in a quiet village, just a short walk from the beach and close to Dabolim International Airport. We asked for an early check-in, and although it depended on availability, we were lucky to get it. The owners, a sweet elderly couple, made our stay special with their genuine warmth and friendliness. We enjoyed daily chats about the places we visited and other casual topics. This experience left a great impression, and I look forward to staying here again on future trips to Goa.

This hotel features a peaceful, simple, and natural design that immediately puts you at ease. Nestled among lush greenery with gentle sea breezes and calming natural sounds rather than city traffic, it feels like a secluded getaway in Goa. Ideal for introverts, remote workers, writers, or anyone seeking solitude. It's especially great for international visitors or long-term guests who wish to stay for extended periods and discover nearby hidden gems away from the usual hustle and bustle of Goa's tourist areas.

Ein sehr sauberes Gästehaus mit äußerst freundlichen Betreibern und einer insgesamt hervorragend gepflegten Anlage. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gut eingerichtet. Ich kann es wärmstens empfehlen.

The location is superb, Philomela aunty is very nice and cooperative. Don't forget to check the other beaches apart from Bogmalo, and of course the adventurous trip to heart shaped lake. Only thing missing was a kettle for boiling water. Overall, very homely.

The guesthouse is ok, but I did not feel welcome at arrival. The room was clean and the location is good.I arrived tired and irritated because of ATM problems at Dabolim airport in the early evening. But happy I made it till the guesthouse. Told my name but no attention was given to it. The booking-site was asked and Imistakenly gave the wrong site. So there was confusion and I thought I might have to sleep on the beach. But ok.....that was then solved.It's a pity that the lady did not explain about the switched off airco and fridge. I easily discovered the switch of the fridge but only the next morning, just before leaving I did get to know that the airco had a switch as well. It did not make so much difference though as there was a power cut during the night. But why not give this information at arrival?The shower was not at all comfortable. As the tap under the showerhead was so big , it was not possible to stand under the water coming out of the shower. Dark curtains had to stay closed to have some privacy, so no daylight in the room. It was fine for 1 night, but I would not choose the guesthouse another time.
