Amanvana Spa Resort, Coorg

We were there for 3 nights trip from 20-23 May. Quite disappointed.Ambience and the surroundings inside the resort are really good.Bad quality food, Cleanliness in room not as expected, exorbitant charges for alcoholic drinks (3 times the MRP with service charge). Food not ready on time in the buffet area.The room initially alloted had AC inoperational & fan only on highest speed. It took one hour to change our room.During checkin we were told that a coffee machine is available for espresso and americano coffees. However, we didn't find any to our utter disappointment!Service in the restaurant is not as expected of a luxury resort. Menu is utterly boring ! No rotation of menu ’ same items served for breakfast every day. Probably they don’t have professional cooks.. the street food taste is probably better! Did not feel that we were having meals at a premium resort(so they claim!)

A very green and beautiful resort.The property itself is so serene and it's recommended u spend your time only here if the vacation is for a day or two. There is river trek within the property and they have a good swimming pool. Their spa was out of the world.Indoor and outdoor activities need some improvisations as it looks a bit less maintained. We had minor water issues. But they fixed it the very next day . I hope such problems won't arise again. We ordered food ala carte and it was decent. Morning breakfast buffet was average. But overall if you want to enjoy nature, and relax this resort is highly recommended. Overall loved it !!!

Had an amazing stay at Amanvana Spa Resort Coorg. The resort is surrounded by lush greenery and the peaceful riverside atmosphere makes it a perfect getaway from city life. The cottages were spacious, clean, and beautifully designed with a perfect blend of luxury and nature. The staff were warm, courteous, and always ready to help, which made the experience even better. The spa treatments were relaxing and rejuvenating, while the food was delicious with a good variety of options. Our 2 days stay here really gave us a break that we deserved. This lush property makes you feel one with nature. The staff here went way beyond to make sure we were comfortable almost to the point it felt like home away from home. Mr.Naveen our guide for all the activities like bird watching, nature walk and river island trekking was not only proficient but an amazing company.
