BARSATI RANCHES

Situated just beyond Vythiri town on the way to Kozhikode, this place offers a wonderful experience. The service and staff were exceptional. We enjoyed the food a lot, especially as we were all non-vegetarians. The biryani and chicken kondattam were delicious. The staff were very accommodating. The property features ostriches and horses—you can feed the ostriches and ride the horses. There's a small pond on the premises where you can fish, and you can actually catch fish. My daughter, a beginner, caught five fish in about an hour. They even fried the fish for our lunch, which was a unique experience. We stayed in the jacuzzi room, which was an open-air jacuzzi experience. The room was two stories, with the bedroom and balcony upstairs and the jacuzzi and bathrooms downstairs. The rooms were clean and nicely furnished. On our first day, it wasn’t crowded, so breakfast was served à la carte at the table, which was fantastic. The next day, with more guests, breakfast was a buffet. I must say, there was some disappointment—not due to the property or staff, but because of other guests who unfortunately lacked basic manners, like using their hands to take food from the buffet, which was off-putting. But as I said, that’s not the resort’s fault. Overall, it was a beautiful experience, and I highly recommend it.

Our family recently celebrated our son's 4th birthday at Barsati Ranches, and it was an unforgettable experience. Despite heavy rain on arrival and traveling with young kids aged 4 and 2, the warm hospitality from the team made us feel right at home. Jomol deserves special praise for flawlessly organizing everything and making our celebration special despite the weather. The gazebo was beautifully decorated amid the rain, providing a lovely setting. The staff showed genuine care, keeping our children entertained while we took photos, looking after our little one as needed, and always helping with a smile. Even with the usual chaos young kids bring, the team remained patient and kind, making our children comfortable. Every team member contributed to making our stay wonderful, from the warm welcome to the sincere farewell. Their professionalism and heartfelt hospitality turned a rainy trip into a memorable family celebration. Many thanks to Jomol and the Barsati Ranches team. We truly appreciate all you did and look forward to returning soon. Highly recommended!
