My self along with family checked in last week, night 20:00 pm in BTH for attending a wedding at TDM hall next day. Booking was done through 'Booking.com'. We had to go by a train at 15:00 Hrs. after the wedding. We requested the hotel staff to permit us to stay till 14:00 Hrs. However, they rejected our request and had to checkout at 13:00 hrs. It was understood that no other guest was waiting for the specific room. They could have easily helped us. They told that it is management policy. We had to spend 2 hrs. out side in hot sun of May month, just due to non-cooperation of the Hotel management. Please take care of this situation while booking the room. Location is fantastic, but rooms are normal and building looks very old as it is really. Restaurant is very expensive too.

We made a reservation for the Vishu Sadhya at BTH restaurant in advance to ensure that we could sit together and enjoy the meal. However, upon arrival, they directed us upstairs to a hall, where we were seated separately. This was difficult to manage, especially with an infant. The food was quite disappointing. They charged ’750 per person, but there was not enough variety, and the dishes were bland and tasteless.

Enjoyed a delicious lunch here! The South Indian meals were authentic and served in traditional Kerala style. Every dish was flavorful and satisfying. A great spot if you're craving homely Kerala food!
