Blackberry Hills Munnar Nature Resort & Spa

We stayed here for our vacation, and it was an amazing experience. Choosing to stay here was one of the best decisions we made. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. The front desk team was especially helpful and always ready to assist us. The food was excellent, and the service provided by all the staff was outstanding. We highly recommend this place and would love to stay here again.

What a gem of a resort! I enjoyed listening to the birds, the view and the tastefully decorated and landscaped property/space. Nikhil, the gentleman and the dog (banjo) were fantastic. The cottage suite with the garden view wasn't as nice as the other rooms even though you pay more for it. The roofers were working on the roof of the unit I was staying at so it was a bit loud during the day and pieces of roof kept falling. Staff is really nice but I don't know if they know any better. It seemed like there were more staff than guests and you would hear them in the kitchen when you are at the restaurant of on the grounds. If you are on diet restrictions or trying to eat healthy, it is going to be a challenge. Food was rich, oily and overdone. I had to modify my meal requests. But the view and the over all sense of peace makes up for everything else. I loved and appreciated my stay here. It was peaceful and would return anytime.

Staff very friendly, tried to help with everything. Large rooms. Had a great stay.Could do with some more sun loungers. I was on crutches and didn't appreciate how many steps there were to climb before booking but staff assisted with a golf buggy where ever possible.

Had an amazing stay . Nestled on hill slope with beautiful views of Munnar town & tea gardens below & away from crowds & traffic this place is a gem . The rooms are big & beautiful, property filled with trees, flowers & so many varieties of birds. The staff are warm & ever smiling going out of the way to help out at any time. This place was so informal that it seemed so homely & welcoming. To top everything was the Hornbill restaurant where one could get lost in time, the food served was top notch & we never had to think of eating somewhere else. Thank you for helping us create wonderful memories to cherish & take back.

Wonderful staff and views when the sky is clear. It is well located for hikes, and it is not too far from Munnar either. The included treks were great, and the tea tasting was a bonus.. The shower importantly, especially after rainy hikes, was hot and strong. The only negative is that we came here during damp foggy rainfall, and so our stay was quite damp, and things weren't drying. When the sun is out, I can see this place being very comfortable. We did not stay here long enough to appreciate the area fully.

We had a wonderful stay at BlackBerry Resort. The staff were extremely courteous and welcoming—always smiling and making us feel at home. The spa was a highlight—deeply relaxing, with green tea and honey served afterward. No spa in Bangalore can offer the experience of birds chirping around you. It’s a treat for all your senses.Everything was upfront—no hidden costs or last-minute surprises. The website shows exactly what the resort is like, with no false promises. We were pleasantly upgraded to a room with a Jacuzzi, and their bubble bath left us with a lasting memory. The Villeroy & Boch fittings were a luxurious touch—chef’s kiss! The rooms were spotless, and the bathrooms were beautiful—modern, clean, and thoughtfully done. The resort itself is lush green and beautifully maintained, making it feel like a peaceful retreat into nature.Hornbill, the in-house restaurant, was equally impressive. The gulab jamun was unforgettable, and the North Indian dishes were top-notch. You can really tell they use fresh ingredients and don’t compromise on quality. The only con was the breakfast—it’s a bit limited. Also, do note that there are quite a few steps around the property, so elderly guests may need to be cautious. It’s perfect for couples looking to unwind and reconnect in serene, nature-rich surroundings. We left with full hearts and unforgettable memories. Highly recommended.

We booked this resort after so much research on the reviews. We observed one common statement across various reviews was about their customer service. Man , those weren’t a lie. First about the property, well cleaned and maintained, pleasant views and very close to nature. The entire family loved it. Next about the food, lunch and dinner are good and reasonably priced. Breakfast lacks options. We used the swimming pool and Indoor play area. Other amenities were not used either due to poor weather or people availability. Lastly about the staffs, man, they will make you feel home. Extremely friendly and courteous people. Definitely you should stay here only for their staff . Small things such as receiving us at the door step and sending off till the parking lot, those things really makes an impact. Overall it was a fantastic stay.

The hotel is situated a bit away from the city which gives it excellent view of the hills. The morning views are breath taking. The customer service was excellent. In general everyone was ver courteous but one event stood out. I was feeling sick and dehydrated when was at the restaurant. After a little while I had to lie down to avoid fainting. The staff noticed it. They ensured I was hydrated by quickly giving salt and sugar water. Later they followed 2-3 times by visiting the room, offered to take me to hospital if I was still not keeping well. This was over and above they are expected to do.
