Calux Hill Queen (Formerly Amara at Mall Road with Free Parking)

Hotel is good but it seems little overpriced. The caption on Google reads as Hotel with Outdoor POOL but there's no pool, as expected.It's around 1 km from either side of the Mall road. The location is good. The rooms are fine and it provides a good, clean ambience.The Food is though not up to the mark. It lacks taste. But there are number of options nearby so one can opt the hotel without meals.Hotel can accomodate around 15 cars in it's Parking Space. Though opting for parking here is not ’? a good option as you've to be a real expert to drive your way to the hotel parking.Staff is quite supportive and I really appreciate them, except the one Mr Harish of their Sales Team who didn't knew how to talk to Customer.Overall it's a Nice One but Calux Sales Team need some Training on How to Treat People’’??

we stayed for 3 nights and 3 days, it was a really wonderfull experience. the staff was very kind and helpful, the owner mr. umesh aggarwal really cared about customer satisfaction and made sure all things were well personally. if visiting mussoorie do consider calux amara hill queen. its well centred in mussoorie and all the tourist places are nearby at a walkable distance.it was a really nice experience to stay here.~Pushpendra rana & family (Roorkee)

Good hotel located near the ropeway. You need to take a pool car from Picture Palace or come with your own private vehicle to reach the property. The location is beautiful and peaceful.The cleanliness and overall hotel quality were good. However, reaching the reception can be a little difficult as you need to climb stairs first, then take a lift from the first floor to reach the upper floors.The breakfast was average. During our 3-day stay, we mostly found idli and sambar every day with very limited variety. More southindian breakfast options would make the experience better.I did not face any issues with the room quality or cleanliness, but I was disappointed with the support during a medical emergency. During the trip, I suffered from vomiting due to a food infection and called the reception 2’3 times asking for help to find a doctor. Unfortunately, they were not able to assist properly and only suggested going to the civil hospital.In the end, my wife and I searched for a doctor on Google ourselves, took a pool car, and managed to get medicines. Considering this is a well-known hotel, I believe they should be more supportive in such situations and help travelers during medical emergencies.One bellboy named Jitesh was very helpful and assisted me in getting medicine late at night. I truly thank him for his kindness and support. Apart from him, I did not receive much help from the reception despite calling multiple times.Overall, the hotel stay was decent, but guest support during emergency situations definitely needs improvement.

I recently stayed at Calux Hill Queen, and overall, I had a very pleasant experience.The staff members were very helpful and cooperative, always ready to assist with a smile. The room was clean and spacious, and I got a top-floor room with a great valley view.Housekeeping was available whenever required, which was very convenient. They also provide free parking and a lift facility.The only issue was with the breakfast buffet. The food quality needs improvement ’ there was an oil smell in some items. However, a few dishes were okay.Overall, it was a comfortable stay with great views and supportive staff. With slight improvement in food quality, it would be even better. ’?
