Almost stayed for a week long Workation Trip at the Social Stays. Took a 6 bed dorm, which had all the basic necessities. Extremely courteous staff esp Anuj Thapa (the manager) and Sohan Singh Panwar (the cook). Staff made all possible efforts to ensure my Workation Trip is comfortable. Food prepared is decent. Property is near to the Library Chowk area, so it remains peaceful and less crowded. If you're a solo traveler looking for Workation Trip, you can give Social Stays a try.
This place was exactly I was looking for neat and clean and very nearby to library chowk , from where you can get buses back to Dehradun. It was a solo travel and the stay had dedicated kitchen and food ordering mechanism also. Near to company garden , gun hill , library chowk . Overall the experience was super good.
I liked being at the Social stays, location is very peaceful that too near to Mall Road.View from the hostel is amazing too only thing is steep road to reach if walking, if we rent scooty then no problem at all travelling in and around
