Madhuban Sarovar Portico Mussoorie

We reserved a valley view room at this hotel. The staff greeted us with a welcome drink and assisted with our luggage. The rooms were tidy and the food was excellent.

We recently stayed at this hotel, a Sarovar property, and experienced the same quality of service as in other Sarovar hotels. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a delicious welcome drink. We asked Manager Narottam Sharma for a room upgrade, which he kindly approved, and we enjoyed a fantastic room with a balcony and a great view. The room was spacious and very clean. We ordered food that was tasty and delicious. I would recommend this hotel to others as well. The staff were polite and behaved well. Thanks to the Madhuban Sarovar team.

The location is convenient. However, the rooms are poor. The bathrooms are infested with cockroaches. Hot water supply is minimal, barely a trickle. There is a musty odor in every room, and the floors are damp with moisture. We stayed in three rooms from August 2 to August 3, 2026: Room 203 facing the valley, and rooms 212 and 209. The balconies were unclean. The air conditioning in room 203 was completely non-functional. The staff was unhelpful when we requested room changes or reported issues. The front office manager, Mr. Narottam, was especially uncooperative. The food and beverage staff were polite, and the food quality was above average. Mr. Abhishek at the front office was friendly but lacked authority because of Mr. Narottam's behavior. I would advise avoiding this hotel.
