Solo Traveller • India • Oct 2026I booked the stay for two night in this hotel , problem I faced listed below,- no parking of car provided near by as mention and the hotel staff is of no use. - unhygienic property curtains have fungal on it with cigarette marks. - Bed and floor is very dirty-walls paint is chipping off with moisture making room smell badly. - after facing this problem with Manager the reply I got was it was a hostel that led to no basic cleaning. Will not recommend anyone that concerns, basic hygiene

The experience was terrible. The walls had stains, the bedsheets appeared unwashed, and the curtains were torn. To make matters worse, neither the TV nor the electric kettle was working.When I raised these issues with the property manager, instead of addressing the problems professionally, he started arguing with me. The overall condition of the room was unacceptable, and the lack of proper service made the experience even worse.Unfortunately, I had to stay because the booking amount was already prepaid. I would not recommend this property to anyone. The hygiene, maintenance, and customer service all need significant improvement. Think twice before booking this hotel.

We had a 3 day stay at shalom backpackers and tbh the experience is worth sharing. Hostel was clean, the food was damn good and the staff was soo polite and helpful, especially receptionist Ganesh, he was very helpful, and made our check-in process smooth and hassle free. 10/10 location, you’ll get a great view, our special spot was rooftop area.
