Solo Traveller • Jul 2026I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at The Samrat Hotel in Mussoorie. The level of service and the condition of the room were absolutely unacceptable, and I am writing to demand a full refund for this experience.To highlight the issues:- The room was filthy, with no bath linen provided.- The electric kettle had a slimy green residue inside.- The room was far from what was shown in your pictures.- Despite paying an extra 4000 for my 9-year-old son, you failed to provide the promised extra bed. The room’s size was too small to even accommodate an additional mattress.- The water for bathing was dirty and brown in the morning.- When I raised these concerns with the receptionist, I was met with complete indifference and was told to report to the booking source, with no attempt to resolve the matter or offer an apology.This entire experience has been unacceptable, and I demand a full refund immediately. I expect a prompt response and resolution to this matter.The kitchen staff was cooperative and the food offered was fine. You may deduct the food expenses for that matter, but look into refunding the rest.
