I am a frequent traveler, but this stay was just terrible. Booked for two nights but had to check out after one night stay. Thanks to ultra stinking rooms, more than dirty bedding sheets, towels, no TV, rooms lacks basic amenities like hot water kettle, intercom, no room service, very far from other main attractions except kempty fall. Strongly not recommended for family stay with kids. Strongly not recommend for travelers without own conveyance.
My family and I really enjoyed staying at The Mountain Huts. The highlight of this hotel is the stunning surrounding scenery and the numerous play areas available for children.

Family • Jun 2026It's not really a hotel, more like a mountain adventure club. They have divided a room with aluminium partitions, which lack ventilation. A window has been provided, but it opens into the gallery and is fully open, so anyone can easily enter. The restraint supervisor is rude and unwilling to admit his mistakes or consider feedback about the food quality. The place is 11 km from Mussoorie, making it very difficult to reach Mall Road without a car, especially if you need transportation 24/7.
