Good location. Chef Karthik gave a good fish curry thali for lunch and the fish fry was just amazing. Chef Rajesh and his team did a great job while providing breakfast buffet. Courteous service by Ms Shifani. The restaurant staff have been trained well.The quality of rooms can be improved. The lighting is very dim. The TV inside the room is quite tiny compared to the room size.The happy hub is in horrible shape. The snooker table room is so small, one cannot even stretch hands to play the game. The cue white ball is like a moon surface, full of craters. The cue stick is totally worn out. There is no rest stick available.The reception staff looks worn out with the exception of Mr. Peter, who was very positive with a pleasant manners.Overall, it appears to be at the bottom of Club Mahindra Standards.

My parents surprised me with a stay at this beautiful resort, and it was such a lovely experience! Surrounded by nature, the atmosphere was peaceful and refreshing. The food was delicious, and a special thanks to the chef for preparing an amazing bruschetta,it was one of the highlights of our stay! The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the security team greeted us with a salute and a warm smile every time.Overall, it was a memorable and relaxing stay.

The days I spent here, and it truly felt like a home.The surroundings are peaceful and surrounded by nature, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway.The food was delicious with plenty of options, and every meal was enjoyable. What stood out the most was the hospitality,the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Their warmth made the stay even more memorable.Whether you're visiting anytime this resort offers a comfortable and welcoming experience. Stayed at Club Mahindra Thekkady as part of an official trip with colleagues, and overall I would rate the experience around 3 out of 5.The property is set in a really nice location. The surroundings are well maintained, and the way the rooms are designed according to the natural land shape is well thought out. In terms of ambience and environment, it definitely creates a good impression.However, the overall experience didn’t quite match what you would expect from a 4-star or 5-star property. One of the main drawbacks was the swimming pool. It wasn’t maintained properly at the time we used it, with quite a lot of leaves floating around.Food was another area where it felt inconsistent. We had lunch, dinner, and breakfast during the stay, and only the breakfast really stood out. The other meals didn’t meet expectations.Since the property is in a relatively closed area, most of the time is spent within the resort, so the facilities play a big role. One area that was well done is the gaming zone. It had a good range of options like PlayStation setups, billiards, chess, and table tennis, which made it a good space to spend time with colleagues.We also stepped out and visited Panchalimedu, which turned out to be a great experience and helped balance the overall trip.Overall, it’s a decent property with a good location and some thoughtful design elements, but the experience doesn’t quite justify a higher rating. It works fine for team outings, but there is definitely room for improvement in maintenance and food quality.
