Had a wonderful stay at Spice Village. The arrival experience was smooth, and the staff was warm, courteous, and welcoming throughout our stay. Check-in was quick, and the room was clean, comfortable, and extremely well maintained. It's hard to believe that the property is over two decades old given how well it has been preserved.While the food is priced slightly on the higher side, the overall experience more than makes up for it. The hospitality, service, and ambience were excellent. We stayed for just one night, but honestly, I wish we had planned an extra day here. A highly recommended property for anyone visiting Thekkady.

Spice Village is truly a must-visit destination. The place, ambience, layout, beautiful weather and warm hospitality were absolutely exceptional. The staff and the wide range of in-resort activities made our stay truly memorable. Among all the resorts we have visited so far, this was by far the best and we would certainly want to come back for more.What stood out the most was how thoughtfully they catered to guests of all ages ’ both elders and kids were equally engaged, cared for, and made to feel special. Every detail reflected comfort, warmth, and genuine hospitality.A heartfelt thank you to the entire Spice Village team. You all truly deserve a big shoutout for making every guest feel completely relaxed and for creating lifetime memories that we will always cherish.

Had a wonderful stay at Spice Village, Thekkady. One important thing to know before booking is that the property is non-AC, but honestly, you really don’t need AC there as the climate is naturally cool and pleasant throughout the stay.The property is beautifully designed with very well-built cottages and gives a true eco-tourism experience surrounded by nature. One of the best parts was the number of activities available for kids to learn about nature and wildlife. Their Tiger Club conducts many engaging and informative activities which are truly worth experiencing.The food was absolutely delicious with a great variety of options available every day. They also organize cultural performances every evening, which adds a fantastic local touch to the overall experience.The staff was extremely friendly, courteous, and always ensured we were comfortable throughout our stay. I had read a few reviews mentioning that the staff gives more attention to foreign guests, but I would honestly say that was not our experience at all. We were taken care of exceptionally well, and the hospitality was outstanding. Kudos to the entire team for maintaining such warm service standards.Also, must try their Woods Bar and 50 Mile Restaurant during the stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic nature getaway in Thekkady.
