Coastal Pearl Hotel Margao Railway Station

The hotel was fairly standard but good value for the price. Its biggest plus is the close proximity to the railway station and a nearby bus stop. The only issue I encountered was with the fans; in the first room, the fan was very noisy, and in the upgraded second room, the fan only worked properly at the highest speed setting. Breakfast was average. Both the rooms and the hotel were clean.

This message is mainly for those who book online. If you book in advance based on the pictures shown, you might feel cheated. The cleanliness, paint, bed, bedsheets, and overall room condition are very different from what is shown. So, be very cautious. The location is decent and close to the railway station. The staff were okay. The booking mentioned a road view, but the room was closed off with no outside view. Maybe the staff assigned a different room, not sure. Breakfast was okay. The staff helped store luggage at the reception after check-out.

Good! Recommended any time.

I don't understand why people are giving 5 stars to this hotel. It's awful. When we entered the reception, there was a terrible humid smell that made it hard to breathe. The rooms are just as bad and definitely not worth the high prices, which seem excessive given the lack of upkeep. The only good thing is that it's within walking distance from Madgaon railway station.

Staff are very polite and the person is very good.
