Delhi The Citadel hotel

Among all the hotels I checked near Vasco railway station, this one stands out. The location is great, roughly the same distance from Vasco da Gama railway station and Vasco/Kadamba Bus stop (about 300-400m). There's a nice Udupi Veg hotel just 100m away and a pleasant walking park about 150m from the hotel. The reception staff were polite, friendly, and professional, even offering a discount on the room. Card payments are accepted. Their checkout time is a bit different, from 12pm to 12pm (24 hours), and early check-in before 12pm usually costs extra, but they waived this fee for me as a kind gesture. The room I stayed in was decent, with a clean bathroom where the flush and taps worked fine. The AC provided excellent cooling. There was a slight musty odor, but they sprayed room freshener to address it. Room service was very good, and there is a lift available. In summary, if you arrive at Vasco da Gama station and want an affordable room at a reasonable price, this hotel is a great choice. I would give it an 8.5 out of 10.
