Hotel ambience is good. And some staffs are very kind and polite and I will like mention Sharad Sir he was the kindest among all the staff. And some of the staff were rude. And we didn’t get a dental kit that was a problem another than that if u want a good hotel near your destination. Its good

Very peaceful place. You get a divine darshan of Sri Damodar swamy here. The temple is small and simple yet has a great positive ambience. You get ample place to sit and meditate. I visited it around 7 in the morning so it was less occupied and peaceful. Of couse, the rush may vary with daytime. It is 400m from Vasco garden and 800m from Vasco da Gama railway station.

I happened to visit Shree Damodar Mandir, Vasco da Gama, first during the August festival season, when the famous Vasco Bhajani Saptah was being celebrated. There was a very huge crowd, and the entire area had a strong festive and devotional atmosphere.The Vasco Bhajani Saptah is a well-known spiritual and cultural festival of Vasco, hosted at Shree Damodar Mandir. It is said to have started in the 19th century, when local people prayed for relief from a deadly plague. The festival begins on the 6th day of the Hindu month of Shravan, the day after Nag Panchami, usually falling in August. During this period, the temple and surrounding areas become very lively with bhajans, devotion, and large gatherings of devotees.For a South Indian like me, the temple structure looked quite different from the traditional temples we usually see in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, or Kerala. In South India, we are used to seeing tall gopurams, large temple tanks, prakarams, and ancient stone architecture. But Shree Damodar Mandir has a different style. From outside, it may not immediately look like a conventional temple; to me, it looked more like a rich wedding hall or a modern community hall.However, the real beauty of the place is felt only after entering inside. Once I went in, I could feel a clear divine vibration and peaceful energy. Even though the outer appearance was different from what I expected, the inner atmosphere was spiritually powerful and calming.During my stay in Vasco, I visited this temple several times. Each visit gave me a sense of calmness, coolness, and inner peace. The temple atmosphere helped me feel relaxed and spiritually connected, especially amid the busy surroundings of the town.The crowd during the festival was very large, but it also showed the deep faith and devotion people have towards Shree Damodar Mandir. The bhajan atmosphere, devotional energy, and collective prayer made the experience memorable.Overall, Shree Damodar Mandir is a peaceful and spiritually vibrant place in Vasco da Gama. Its architecture may appear different from the usual South Indian temple style, but once you enter, you can definitely feel the divine presence. I would recommend anyone visiting Vasco, especially during Shravan or Bhajani Saptah time, to visit this temple and experience its devotional atmosphere.

Shree Damodar is known as Dambappa for Vasco Citizens. Mandir is in heart of city and one mut visit for his blessings.
