The location and property are very nice.

We reached late. The staff was courteous and helpful. The location is by side of river Hiran. It is newly constructed asset, and it was clean.

Don't be misled by the resort's location. The service and management are the worst I've encountered. Especially the staff—they are terrible, lacking manners and etiquette.

The hotel staff showed a lack of professionalism and poor customer service, which harms the reputation of hospitality in Somnath. They informed me that checkout was at 10am, despite their official website stating 1pm. When I questioned them, they told me to ask Agoda, not realizing that the property itself manages the listing, not Agoda. I suggest choosing another resort or property that offers better and more professional service. Otherwise, they might disturb your stay by knocking on your door at 9:30am to make you leave, treating guests as if they are staying for free. The property seems to be run by locals from Veraval who lack basic hospitality knowledge, despite my 25 years of experience living here. Regarding their so-called "gesture of goodwill" for late check-in, accommodating guests at any time during their stay is part of their job, not a favor. I booked a resort, not an ashram or a shared accommodation. They need proper hotel management training. Saying "we helped with your luggage as a gesture of goodwill" is incorrect; it's their responsibility. Also, the checkout time was not mentioned on Agoda because the listing is managed by the property. I challenge them to name 10 resorts in India where checkout times differ across platforms and are set at 10am. I booked based on the information on their official website.
