Family • India • Oct 2026Very disappointing experience, not what I expected from a “4-star” propertyI booked this hotel because Agoda listed it as a 4-star property. Unfortunately, what I experienced was nowhere close to the standard I expected from a 4-star hotel.From the moment I arrived, I noticed serious cleanliness and hygiene issues. There was dust throughout the property, including on the stairs and inside the room, and the toilet was dirty and unhygienic. I have uploaded photos showing the dust, including dust visible on my hand/thumb after touching surfaces. These were not just pictures of the outside premises, as was apparently claimed to Agoda.I also noticed a sign outside the property stating that parking is at the owner's risk, which was another concern.Because I have a dust allergy, I immediately explained to the property that staying in such an environment could seriously affect me. I requested a refund and was told that the property was willing to refund me but that I needed to contact Agoda because they had no policy to process the refund themselves.I contacted Agoda customer service, explained the situation, and provided the requested photographs. However, Agoda later told me that the property claimed the photographs were taken outside the premises. This was frustrating because the photographs clearly include areas inside the property, including the stairs, toilet, and other interior areas, as well as the dust visible on my hand.I did not check in or stay at this hotel because of the hygiene and cleanliness conditions I found upon arrival. I had no choice but to book another hotel instead.I booked this hotel based on the 4-star rating displayed on Agoda, but my actual experience did not match that representation at all.My advice: please carefully check recent reviews and photos before booking. Based on my experience, I would not recommend spending your money here.
