Elixir Hills Suite Hotel and Spa

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience. One of the most disappointing hotel stays we have ever had. The property looked NOTHING like the pictures advertised. We honestly felt completely misled.The TV stand was broken, and unbelievably, the TV itself wasn’t even working. The couch was visibly unclean, and the wooden shelf had such a horrible smell that it was genuinely unpleasant to stay in the room.And the bathroom had such an unpleasant nasty smell that no one would even dare to step inside it , we literally tried adjusting by spraying air fresheners but no sprays, perfumes or air fresheners could fix the smell and the gym was so unused and and maintained, it looks like an abandoned place.For a property presented as a luxury/five-star resort, this level of maintenance and cleanliness is completely unacceptable.The only good service we got was the food, it was tasty compared to the EXTREMELY BAD RESORT EXPERIENCE.What made the experience even worse was that we were literally counting down the hours until checkout because we were so uncomfortable. This was supposed to be a relaxing stay, but instead we spent our time frustrated and disappointed.But the only good thing we had was the waterfall and the pool.For the price they charge, this is absolutely not what guests should be getting. The difference between the advertised pictures and the actual condition was shocking. We deeply regret staying here and would NOT recommend Elixir Hills to anyone expecting a genuine luxury experience. Save your money and look elsewhere.

Stunning Property Ruined by Shocking Food Hygiene and Poor Management (Stay: 29/07/26 - 30/07/26)The Ambience: The property infrastructure and environment easily match 5-star standards. The scenery is beautiful and the atmosphere is excellent.The Food Hygiene Nightmare: The kitchen hygiene is a serious hazard. During lunch, I found hair in my food. At tea time, there was hair inside the cookies. Worst of all, a plastic wrap was cooked directly inside my omelette !!!Service & Management: The restaurant staff were nice and well-behaved. However, the property manager’s attitude was completely unacceptable’lacking basic professionalism, performing below a 1-star standard.Room Cleanliness: The facilities and cleanliness in the room never met 5-star expectations. This was not an isolated incident; during my stay, several other customers were simultaneously raising loud complaints about the exact same poor food quality and dirty rooms.Note to Management: If you can sort out these serious hygiene issues and fix the leadership attitude, this could easily be one of the finest properties. Until then, it is a letdown.

’’’’’I had a wonderful stay at Elixir Hills Suites Resort & Spa, Munnar. The location is breathtaking, surrounded by lush greenery and peaceful nature. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with beautiful views from the balcony.The staff were warm, courteous, and always ready to help, making the stay even more enjoyable. The food was delicious with a good variety of options, and the overall service was excellent.The resort is perfect for anyone looking to relax and enjoy a peaceful getaway. I highly recommend Elixir Hills to couples, families, and nature lovers. I would definitely love to visit again!

Went here and absolutely loved it! The staff were amazing and kind and special thanks to Vijayalakshmi for ensuring we had a good experience. The food at the restaurant was tasting excellent. We loved the chicken noodles! All that was missing was the accessibility of liquor as there is nowhere close by you could get any and neither does the resort sell. But the resort and whole travel by itself was a bliss ’’ Thank you!

It was absolutely stunning experience in this pleasant and serene property.It is a nice getaway from the buzzing life in cities.The staffs were very friendly and cooperative in all aspects starting from welcoming us in the reception to sending off us.Especially the front desk staffs: Ms.Vijayalakshmi and Mr.Ganesh very literally very helpful and interacted with us like friends which is very rare to see in other hotels.And then the rooms , they were very spacious and the beds were comfy too.The swimming pool was also very beautiful with a scenic view of this pulimootil estate.And then especially the food, amazing with lots and lots of variety , not just for breakfast or lunch but for all meals including evening tea time.Even, a staff named Mr.Asif was very helpful to us in the restaurant and food aspects..And this is also a superb place for photogenics..!! As this whole property is filled with so much of natural scenic frames!!In a nutshell, this property is even a separate beauty in the beauty of munnar where each time u spend is memorable!!!’’’
