Gemur Khar! 🏔️ We had a wonderful stay in clean, cozy rooms with mountain views. The food was simple and nourishing, with a comforting homemade quality. A standout part of our visit was meeting Tulsi, one of the hosts. She is very warm and hospitable, with deep knowledge of Gemur. She guided us to the best spots to visit (and what to avoid) and took us on a serene riverside walk, sharing interesting details about local flowers, birds, and culture, which made our experience even more memorable. The place also promotes guest interaction through enjoyable evening game sessions, providing a great chance to meet other travelers, share stories, and build new friendships. Special thanks to Mr. Mohan, the property manager, who is very kind, welcoming, and always ready to assist guests with a smile. Gemoor Khar was among the most remarkable experiences I've ever had. They possess a profound expertise in hosting guests at high altitudes and guided us to explore both popular and hidden gems of the Lahaul district. Our host, Ms. Tulsi, made each day enjoyable, significant, and unforgettable. She stayed with us throughout, sharing rich local knowledge, cultural perspectives, and sensory moments that enriched our journey. I especially valued how the team thoughtfully fostered guest interactions, helping us bond and forming a temporary community that made the experience warmer and more vibrant. Even though I followed all the team's safety measures, I had a slight bout of mountain sickness. Their response was swift, taking me to the hospital quickly to ensure my safety. In summary, Gemoor Khar provided a deeply meaningful, immersive, and enlightening experience. Their hospitality, care, and sense of connection turned this stay into a treasured memory.

I stayed at Gemoor Khar near Jispa and found it to be a true treasure. Situated like a bowl by the Bhaga River with the Himalayas towering all around, the location is ideal for visiting Shinku La, Padum, Baralacha La, and Leh. The environment is calm and pristine, making the night sky incredibly clear and beautiful. The rooms offer stunning mountain views, are roomy, and the beds are cozy. The hospitality was excellent — Mr. Mohan, the manager, is warm and welcoming, and Tulsiji, the host, is wonderful. She knows the area well, organizes hikes and local tours, and is one of the kindest hosts I've encountered. The fresh Pahadi cuisine was a standout — I especially enjoyed their rajma chawal and dal. The place also felt very safe for solo female travelers. I would definitely return without hesitation.

Our time at Gemoor Khar in Jispa was unforgettable. Nestled among the breathtaking mountains, the property provides stunning views and a serene environment ideal for relaxation. The charming wooden cottages are cozy, well-designed, and come with bed warmers, ensuring comfort even in chilly weather. What truly stood out was the hospitality. We had initially booked one night at Gemoor and another at a different homestay, but when the second booking was unexpectedly cancelled and Gemoor Khar was fully booked, he managed to find us accommodation at the last moment. We deeply appreciate his kindness and quick help. Another highlight was meeting our host, Tulsi, who greeted us warmly, made us feel at home, and provided guidance on local attractions. She also gave us helpful advice for our journey to Gonbo Rongjon. One unforgettable moment was the short hike she suggested to a beautiful gompa above the resort, offering amazing views and a peaceful experience we would have missed otherwise. If you're visiting Jispa, I strongly recommend staying at Gemoor Khar. Its picturesque setting, lovely cottages, and the genuine warmth of its hosts make it much more than just a place to stay.

Among the top accommodations near Gemur/Jispa! Situated right on the main road entering Gemur from Manali, with Jispa only 4 km away. Plenty of parking is available, which is great if you're driving. The rooms were roomy and cozy, equipped with electric bed warmers that were a real comfort in the cold. Waking up to breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains each morning was definitely a highlight. The food was simple, fresh, and exactly what we needed after long travel days—comforting and very tasty. What truly made the stay unforgettable was the hospitality. The staff were warm, courteous, and always willing to assist. Piyush and Vikram were very helpful with anything we required. Special thanks to Mr. Mohan, who was always there to guide us, and Ms. Tulsi, an exceptional host who helped us plan our next stay and made the experience more personal by organizing a wonderful riverside walk. She has a great talent for making every guest feel welcome. We also enjoyed the game night she arranged, which brought together many guests who have now become friends.
