The worst ever experience, they do not have courtesy to even check the rooms before check in , Ac was not working and no one even bothered, after that multiple calls you have to make for even small things. They are the worst in Shimogha do not go here, normal lodge is better than this. They ask us to change the rooms in the night because they can’t correct things, with our little one it was hell experience with Harsha, they should close the hotel and go home. Not even worth one star

Considering this a 4 star hotel ( as mentioned in Google) and a series by Marriot, we had a 2 day stay in this hotel. Let me tell you the service was pathetic. Key things to take care of:1. Check in time is 2 pm. Even if you arrive there at 1.45 pm, they will make you stay for 15 mins. But at 2 pm, they will start the check in process which for me took around 25 mins due to lack of room availibility, thereby wasting our 30 mins of time. I complained this to them, but no action taken.2. The AC in room 410 does not work. They claimed that the water outlet was not working properly and they took the water manually out. Again at night 2 am, the AC stopped working and the people came to take the water out again. Disgusting maintenance by the hotel staffs.3. Please bring your own toiletries and bath shampoo/soaps/face wash etc. since they did not give us in the first instant. They gave only after our request. (Room 410)4. No towels kept for bathroom use. (Room 410)5. Door bell does not ring. (Room 410)6. We insisted to keep an extra bed one week ago and remained everytime. But after check in, it took them more than an hour to bring the extra bed. (Room 410)7. The entrance light does not work. (Room 405)8. No hand wash in the hand wash bottle. (Room 405)9. No complimentary water bottles kept in Room 405. Kept only upon requestThis was purely not expected from 4 star hotel and that too a part of Marriot. I would request all of you to go for some other decent hotels in Shimoga.

It was good stay at the hotel. The room was good. It was twin beds and 10" bed fluffy spring bed. The location of the hotel is good. Situated on the main road , just 400 MTRS inside.The swimming pool is situated on the first floor. The water quality was good. The pool was approx. 3.5 feet deep max. There was separate pool for the kids.We got the complimentary breakfast. The food quality was good. There was south indian idli, dosa, banana bada, tomato chutney, white chutney, three - four types of juices. The ambience of the dining hall was very good and also nice seating arrangements.Al together it was nice time staying in the hotel.The hotel management can improve on the maintenance work, apart from this all was good.

What a disappointment’..!!!Let me start off by saying the property is placed in a beautiful location. The disaster starts as soon as you enter.Untrained and mismanaged staff. Looks like the entire hotel is run by juniors.Front office: forgets to pass on messages to other departments. I had to call 7 times and waited for 3 hours for extra bed which was informed to them during booking and during check in as well. My luggage was bought up to the room after 2 hours.Housekeeping: Cleanliness of the room specially the toilets should be looked into. No toiletries in the rooms looks like the hotel expects us to get our own toiletries. And the worst part was the WC (toilet) was not even cleaned after the previous guest checked out. All this in a days stay.But the worst was the FNB SERVICE department. Such confusions and chaos. The staff keep on running like headless chicken. No one knows what to do. Hence there is a lot of delay in food delivery and a lot of mixed up orders. I had my order mixed up on 2 occasions. I also happened to order room service(IRD) and the staff who picked up the call kept on telling me for 40mins that he is off duty and would transfer my call. Which never happened. The staff keeps on informing the guest that they are having a shortage in staffing but honestly it’s not a guest problem it is a management problem and the management should look into it.My honest opinion try to avoid this place if you have other options. Or be ready to spend half your vacation in sorting petty issues.

A ecohotel situated in a quiet place on the sagar route. Just 5kms from town centre but beautiful views of distant hills. The rooms are spacious,properly maintained. Good rest rooms. Service excellent. Despite less occupancy, variety food offered for ala carta and decent break fast. Good place for business,tourism and family.
