One of the better places to stay in Hassan especially for business travellers. Very good rooms and great food at reasonable rates.

Do Not Host Events or Family Functions Here!Had one of the worst experiences for an event. We expected much better, considering the hefty amount they charged us. They were completely unprepared.The event coordinator, Prasad, has an extremely bad attitude. He denied serving some of my guests breakfast at 10:15 am saying it was not ready. Because of that, they had to go outside and eat. Later, he justified his actions by saying he wanted to serve it hot. 9 am to 11 am was the agreed window for breakfast. What was worse was that, while we were eating breakfast later, I saw him taking pictures of us. It appeared he was trying to cover his mistake. Probably when the GM questioned him, he used those pictures to show that ’people were already eating.’ In fact, the GM texted me later saying people were already having breakfast. That message came almost half an hour after my relatives had already been turned away. Prasad become passively aggressive when he got to know I texted GM to raise my concern. He remained liked that for the rest of the event. He has zero integrity and empathy that are required for the hotel management job.For lunch, they clearly altered the menu. The food was so cold. Some side dishes had no salt, while others had excessive salt. The Akki roti was extremely tough to chew. The obbattu was also hard as rock. During the event, we saw hotel staff packing food while the event was still ongoing and taking it inside.When the event was supposed to start, we had to wait nearly an hour for the lights to be turned on. The event hall was not ready. The bathrooms were filthy and the whole place smelled bad. There was no discipline!We had clearly asked Prasad a couple of times before the event to arrange only 100-150 chairs. When asked to remove the existing excess chairs, Prasad said it was difficult to move them and left them as is. Prasad’s attitude became worse before the event ended. He immediately removed all leftover food, citing policy and refusing to give any of it. During final settlement, he even charged us for 2 water bottles, despite 60-70 people not showing up and a large quantity of food and water bottles remaining.Initially the GM, Arthur, accommodated changes, but when I gave feedback, he became dismissive and implied that I was asking for discounts. Arthur behaves as if every complaint is about money, rather than accountability.The service was unbelievably bad. The staff serving food were careless - missing dishes, making guests wait unnecessarily and behaving irresponsibly. Hygiene standards were poor, with improper head and hand covering while handling food.I do not believe the positive reviews in Google are genuine. Based on this experience, this hotel does not even deserve to be rated three-star. The place is unclean, poorly managed and lacks basic respect. This was not about expecting five-star luxury - it was about expecting basic competence.

The food is tasty and very affordable. But the service is very slow. you should go here when you are relaxed and have plenty of time to spend
