Hotel Annamalai

The hotel is conveniently located close to the railway station and central bus stand. The check-in was quick and easy.Our room was spacious, clean and well maintained. Sadly the window did not close properly, so we received noise from the street and mosquitoes came in. Additionally, there were some cockroaches in the room and bathroom.Apart from the old receptionist in the evening, the staff was very helpful. The old man did not even look at us while we were talking to him. He seemed to be not interested in our requests as he prefered to look at his computer, get on the phone or talk on the mobile phone. Really a bad habit!

Very friendly and professional staff. The room was good and value for money.Good for western backpackers.

Service not good. Because we order cafe and tea. But both have so much of malai.. which is called the layer on the top of tea and cafe.. and I feel vomiting sense after drinking that cafe because of that layer merged small small pieces into the flask... . And I cannot drink after one sip. We told service team to stain the cafe but the did not get back cafe to. us..they told there is no cafe in the flask... Till our check out time they never give cafe back..

The manager Mr.Karthik unprofessional and shows his angriness when feedback regarding room are noisy with traffic sound.Even the room at fifth floor no sound proof.The room spacious.The aircond is the old type ,broken,making sound,cannot adjust its temperature.cleaniness of the room dusty floor.They used mothball in the drawer, cuboard and toilet with uncomfortable smells,small Television,toilet dirty and smelly with open glass window.No auto lock door,you need letch it from inside.The room price Rs.2000 not worthy .Few hotel at surrounding offering better rate and better service which experienced.No breakfast as well.Bugs in the room.

Neat room and good service, stayed for 3 days, very near by (old) central bus stand in walkable distance and frequent buses especially to Srirangam, thiruvanaikaval, chatthram bus stand and to panjapur. Behind old bus stand, bus frequents to other outskirt places like manaparai etc. In max 10-15mins we can reach railway station. 24hrs check-in & check out. Only drawback is there's no hourly basis room availability if you need to extend your stay for certain hours like 4 hours or half day cause it comes with a full day charge. Hot water for bath available at any time. There are ample amount of food/fruits/veggies shops, veg only/veg & non-veg restaurants as well. Glass windows curtains are there but a little smaller in length compared to the window but the door to balcony had correct length of curtain. Friendly housekeeping staffs. Missed to take pic on check in hence added the pic while check out. Budget wise, it's a bit expensive to our actual budget but it's worth the stay and for easy accessibility. Booked the stay in person (not online).
