Hotel Cachar Club

I’ll be full honest as a foreigner. The rooms are nice. Good location. I booked 2 nights and stayed 3. I ran up a 8,500 bill in the bar/restaurant which isn’t an issue, I wanted to pay it straight away and they said to me no issue, pay it later (I think this is to overcharge). Then on the third night, they came to my room knocking with a card machine at 12 o clock saying that I need to move. I said I don’t want to move. They told me I paid for a better room. I paid 4000 for one night. I had to pack up and move to a much worse and smaller room. They just wanted my double room for another booking. I’m still in silchar for ages because I work online, I didn’t want to give any more money to Cachar ’’ I recommend anyone to stay at Borail, much better. It’s funny because I’m literally happy to pay 4000 a night and I’m here for another week but no to this place ;) catch me in Borail, come say hello

It's bang in the middle of Silchar town & possibly the best hotel to stay if you around this part of Assam.Rooms are well appointed & service is courteous enough to make you feel at home.Complimentary breakfast spread although not very lavish is ok to start your day on a good note.

’’’’’ A comfortable, clean and peaceful stay in SilcharWe stayed at Cachar Club for two nights on two separate occasions while travelling through the North-East of India, and both stays were very pleasant.The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully done ’ peaceful and comfortable enough to truly relax after long days of driving. The hot water supply was ample and consistent, which makes a big difference when you’re on the road, and we had no issues at all.The buffet breakfast deserves a special mention. It was generous, fresh, and offered a good variety of options, making for a great start to the day. I would avoid their idlis, through.On our first night, there was a wedding event at the property, so the place was busy, but parking was still handled very smoothly. We were able to park in the hotel’s attached and external parking space, which was convenient and well-managed ’ especially appreciated while travelling with our own car.Despite the activity, the stay remained peaceful and well organised. The location is also very good, making it easy to get around Silchar while still feeling comfortable and secure. Overall, Cachar Club proved to be a clean, calm, and dependable place to stay, and we would happily return and recommend it to fellow travellers.

I just went to the polo club, it was just bar cum restaurant. If you go there for partying or enjoying! Bro it's for old people who are lonely or or silent family or old age dinner with some drinks. Personally the experience as a student who went there for clubbing ’’ there is no space even there. Even the worst part is one of my friend ordered a cranberry mocktail and they made it from "Real" package cranberry juice with some ice in a like 250 ml glass ’’ lol and it costs more than 200 something rupees.We want to enjoy our friend's placement party and end up paying around Rs. 10k for food that doesn't taste as we expected. Shoulders down, ’’.I don't know about others but it was my experience there ’’’’ hope people take it in a right way.As a student we can't enjoy there! First of all it is not for clubbing, no dance, party, singing there.
