I went to Pearl Resort, Silvassa to celebrate my birthday, but it ended up being one of the most disappointing experiences I've had. The manager told me in the afternoon that my birthday would be celebrated during the DJ night, so I expected at least a simple cake-cutting or some small birthday gesture. However, when I later asked about the cake, he denied ever saying there would be one and said, "I only meant we would dance and have fun." What upset me more was that I offered to pay for the cake myself, but was told there was no cake available anywhere on their entire 18-acre property. For a resort this size, that's really surprising and shows poor guest service and planning. Birthdays happen once a year, and giving guests false hopes only to take them back later ruined my special day. If birthday arrangements aren't possible, just be honest from the start instead of making promises that don't happen. The property is beautiful and well kept, but the bald manager's behavior and professionalism were very disappointing. He was rude, dismissive, and didn't care about guest satisfaction. I expected better hospitality from a resort of this level. Unfortunately, because of bad communication and unprofessional management, my birthday was spoiled. I hope the management improves customer service so no other guest faces the same disappointment.
