I had the worst experience at Hotel D Inn. I booked a Deluxe AC room through the MakeMyTrip portal, and I was completely disappointed the moment I saw the room. There were cockroaches everywhere, including on the bed. The TV screen was damaged and unwatchable, paint was peeling off the walls throughout the room, and the water was salty and brown in color. I'd strongly advise avoiding hotels like this to prevent falling sick during your travels

Had a great time staying here with my friends, and overall it was a very satisfying experience for the price. The rooms were neat, clean, and surprisingly spacious ’ exactly what you need when travelling in a group. The bathroom was equally well-maintained and roomy, which is often a concern with budget stays but was not an issue here at all.The location is a big plus ’ just a short distance from the bus stand, making it super convenient for arrival and departure without the hassle of long commutes. Everything you need is easily accessible from here, which is a huge win for travellers on the move.For the price point, this place genuinely delivers great value. It doesn't feel like you're compromising on comfort despite the budget-friendly rates.The only letdown was the complimentary breakfast. For a stay that impresses in every other way, the breakfast felt rushed and limited ’ it didn't quite live up to the standard set by the rest of the experience. A little more variety and quality there would easily make this a five-star stay.Would definitely recommend this hotel for friends or group trips, especially if you're looking for a clean, spacious, and well-located place without burning a hole in your pocket. Just don't set your expectations too high on the breakfast!

’ 1 Star ’ Worst Stay Ever, Completely Misleading & Disrespectful StaffI had one of the worst hotel experiences at Hotel D’Inn in Pondicherry.During check-in, I was promised a Deluxe AC room, but the moment I entered, it was completely different from what was shown on MakeMyTrip. The room was misleading and nowhere close to the images advertised.The issues didn’t stop there:’No proper landline connection to contact reception’Bathroom door doesn’t close properly’Walls have visible cracks’Bucket and mug in the bathroom were dirty and unhygienic’Basic facilities were poorly maintained and not functioning properlyWhen I raised these concerns, the response from the management was shocking. The manager (Thillai) and supervisor showed zero responsibility or professionalism. Instead of resolving the issue, they bluntly said, ’Take a refund and leave, we are not responsible.’This kind of attitude is completely unacceptable in the hospitality industry. Even the staff behavior was rude and unhelpful.Highly disappointed. This place is a complete waste of money and peace of mind.Do NOT book this hotel online ’ what you see is NOT what you get.

My stay at D Inn was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The room was absolutely pathetic’dirty, poorly maintained, and very uncomfortable. Basic facilities were missing, and there was no TV in the room, which was very disappointing.The service was terrible as well. The staff were unresponsive and did not seem to care about guest complaints. Overall, the experience was extremely unpleasant and not worth the money at all. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.Never it is not 3 star
