Very good

The hotel is nice with very friendly and welcoming staff who are helpful. The food is good, but it lacked authentic Naga cuisine. The place is very clean and the amenities are satisfactory. I wish the rooms were a little larger and had a minibar.

Almost everything visible to customers and guests appears fine, nearly perfect. However, what many don't realize is what happens behind the scenes in the kitchen, out of sight. Most food items in the kitchen are left uncovered, and the kitchen conditions are unhygienic for a hotel of this standard. Cockroaches are present everywhere. I'm unsure about rats since the kitchen is on the 3rd or 4th floor. I share this based on firsthand accounts from staff and student interns who worked in the kitchen. Also, I ordered chicken biryani at the restaurant. I only ate a small portion as I was already full from other dishes. I asked the waiter to pack the rest, but when it was brought, the container was less than half full and two chicken pieces were missing.

I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay at Hotel Lake Shilloi. The room was comfortable, clean and well maintained, and the food was also good.What I appreciated the most was the hospitality and helpful attitude of the entire staff. From selecting the room and food to helping with even the smallest requirements, the staff was always ready to assist. They guided and helped me whenever I needed anything, which made my stay very comfortable and stress-free.The staff was polite, cooperative and always approachable. I genuinely appreciate the efforts they made to ensure that everything was taken care of during my stay.Overall, it was a wonderful experience, especially because of the excellent hospitality, helpful staff, comfortable rooms and good food. I would definitely recommend Hotel Lake Shilloi and would be happy to stay here again.Thank you to the entire team for making my stay so comfortable and memorable!
