Hotel Leela Grande

Good location and cleanliness. Tried to Scam us though.I stayed here while visiting Pehowa. It is located in a relatively decent market.Rooms were ok for the price. The room cleaning and service was good.The front office is another story though. Make my trip showed INR 4300 for 2 rooms. When I called them to enquire about availability of separate beds. The front office person Pradeep suggested I can book directly at hotel and he can give a better rate of INR 3700.While checking out, they billed INR 3700x2 = 7400. When I protested, they started giving the reasons like it is impossible to commit to such a low rate.When I refused and asked them to call the police to settle. They quickly changed their tune and took the originally agreed amount.This reminded me why websites like MMT/Yatra exist. And why one should never trust local businesses blindly especially in North India.

Overall, it was a good experience while staying at Leela Grand hotel. It is located in the heart of the City,kunjpura road market. The rooms are quite neat and clean with all basic amenities and service staff is quite helpful and food is satisfactory and a bit oily. overall It was a good experience.

Average Stay1. Confusion in entry of hotel. Very difficult to find reception of hotel.2. Parking is too far from hotel. My family had to walk a lot.3. Room was given in basement. Corridor was in bad condition with lot of bad smell.4. Food quality was not good. I had dinner and breakfast. Cold food with not so good taste. Very expensive and less quantity. 700 Rupees for a very small Chinese thali. Not so good taste.5. Very small breakfast area. Less space to sit.6. Less choice of food in breakfast and not good taste.7. They charge extra for water.8. Hot water in toilet is for Limited time. They do not provide hot water for bath after 11 pm9. No lady staff in hotel. Family did not felt comfortable10. Not good ambience for families.11. Wrong slippers were given. Same feet slippers

This was a great place to spend the night after a long tiring day at work. Hotel itself is in the middle of the bazaar so it's easy to find. The room was big enough for 2 people, comfortable & well furnished. Beddings were clean. Bathroom was spotless & well equipped. Staff was very polite during check-in, check-out & dealing with the requests. The day security guard was especially polite and helpful for helping with luggage, transport & his local recommendations. Although a bit pricier, this place is recommended.

Had a nice experience and stay at Leela Grande. Room was neat, clean & spacious. Good facilities and friendly staffs. Though the hotel is located in busy/prime area, they had a separate ample parking space just behind the property - very convenient. Security in charge (Rahul) was very helpful. Overall had a great time with out any hassles!
