Andaz Delhi By Hyatt

I recently stayed at Andaz Delhi – by Hyatt, and it genuinely feels like a 7-star hotel. If you want luxury in Delhi Aerocity, this is among the most remarkable hotels I've encountered. From the entrance, everything exudes a premium vibe — the architecture, interior design, atmosphere, cleanliness, and meticulous attention to detail are exceptional. The hotel perfectly combines modern luxury with elegance. The rooms are spacious, beautiful, comfortable, and maintained to an excellent standard. The entire property radiates a luxurious ambiance that makes your stay truly enjoyable. The dining spaces are just as impressive, with a lovely atmosphere and a high-end feel. The overall experience makes you feel like you're somewhere truly special. The staff were polite, professional, and helpful throughout my stay. Cleanliness and upkeep were top-notch. Honestly, I had no complaints. Everything from the interiors to the service and ambiance seems carefully crafted for a luxury experience. Andaz Delhi is definitely one of the most luxurious hotels in Delhi Aerocity, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. It's a wonderful place for a luxury stay with family, friends, or a partner. A truly unforgettable luxury experience.

Service was slow throughout my stay. When I checked in, I asked for an extra bed for my child. They said it would arrive soon, but after an hour, three calls, and a late-night trip to reception, there was still no bed. I told the shift manager Tanmay I wouldn’t leave until the bed was in the room because the kids needed to sleep, and only then did things start moving. Breakfast had a similar slow pace. I saw a fly in the food and reported it right away. Soon after, three staff members came with electric fly swatters, chasing the flies like a mini action scene. I ordered regular tea, which took nearly 30 minutes. I mentioned this to Himanshu, who addressed it the next day, which I appreciated. Room service also needed several follow-ups. Checkout took almost half an hour. I made sure to give feedback about the slow service. On the positive side, they arranged a Ford Endeavour ride to the airport for ₹3200. I know an Uber would have cost ₹500–700, but I went with it anyway. This was my second stay (Hyatt loyalist here). Six months ago, as Globalists, we had a large 6th-floor suite facing the airport, which was great. This time, as Explorists, we booked a suite again hoping for the same, but got a 4th-floor room facing inside. It was still comfortable, just not quite the same experience.

Extremely disappointed with this property. I've stayed at Hyatts around the world but have never encountered such incompetence and a poor experience before. I wouldn't even consider this a 3-star hotel. I've lost all respect for Andaz and will avoid this chain in the future. The restaurant experience was bad, with an hour-long wait just to order, receive food, and even talk to a manager. When the manager finally appeared, the response was poor. The room phone was broken, and it took 45 minutes for someone to come check it. The check-in was awful, with no explanation for the unusual ID verification requirement for all guests, making me question the hotel's security. The lobby was cluttered with luggage everywhere, like an airport conveyor belt. The staff at check-in and the restaurant were unapologetic and poorly trained. This is not a hotel to choose in Delhi; the JW Marriott next door offers a much better experience. After this, I'm done with Hyatt.
