Hotel Palazzo Prime

We have all been to places that are intentionally snobbish. This place is beyond that. At the onset they made me feel inferior for booking "online" instead of whatever god-forsaken alternative they prefer.That was merely the beginning. I had booked via MakeMyTrip. I had booked 2 royal bliss with queen beds. The hotel insists they only get "royal bliss" but not "queen bed" in their voucher. I showed them my booking and I was immediately put in place for inconveniencing the busier than the PM hotel staff. I had made a wrong booking because 1 room showed 3 adults and a kid and another room showed 1 adult and a kid. Obviously they were generous in not charging me extra for the extra adult on one room. The other room had 1 adult and 1 child so it deserves a twin bed not a queen.Thank you O generous staff! Thou has shown me that I deserveth the room with ciggerate smoke and cockroaches... That you so generously provided. And did not even charge me extra for an extra adult in the 3+1 room! Wish all hotels were so generous!Oh, let me apologise for the inconvenience I've caused you. I made you talk to MakeMyTrip twice. I made you kill cockroaches twice. I made you put air freshener to kill ciggerate smoke twice. I also made you re-clean the bathroom. None of these are things done in preparation of the room, right? Specifically when the boarder has called in advance to inform of their exact arrival time. Apologies for the inconvenience I've caused you. Because somebody has to apologise for whatever happened. I don't see it coming from the other end - all I got was "some people smoke and smoke is not easy to get rid of".

When I showed my booking, I was immediately reprimanded for bothering the already busy hotel staff. I had made a booking mistake: one room was for 3 adults and a child, the other for 1 adult and a child. They were kind enough not to charge extra for the additional adult in one room. The other room, with 1 adult and 1 child, should have a twin bed, not a queen. Thanks to the generous staff, I ended up with a room smelling of cigarette smoke and infested with cockroaches, which they provided without extra charge for the extra adult in the 3+1 room! I wish all hotels were this generous! Also, sorry for the trouble I caused by making you contact MakeMyTrip twice, kill cockroaches twice, use air freshener twice to mask cigarette smoke, and re-clean the bathroom. None of these are standard room preparations, especially when the guest had called ahead with their exact arrival time. Apologies for the inconvenience, since someone has to apologize. I didn't hear any apology from the other side—just that "some people smoke and smoke is not easy to get rid of."

Staff performances are top notch love this place every time I will be visiting tezpur I will stay there only...

The staff's performance is excellent; I love this place and will always choose to stay here whenever I visit Tezpur.
