Hotel River Bay

Excellent location, but the rooms are outdated and poorly maintained. They are not clean.

The pool is poorly maintained, and the water park is the worst I've seen. The iron structures are rusted, the slides have no paint, the plastic parts are very old, and the water looks greenish. If you visit here, don't expect any proper pool services. However, the rooms and other services are good.

Had a fair stay at River Bay Resort in Rajahmundry. We arrived late and ended up with less desirable rooms. Though we had booked a river view room with a king bed, those were all taken by the time we checked in. So, we chose standard rooms instead. The rooms weren't very clean; bedsheets were acceptable but the towel quality was poor. The location near Pushkar circle and the scenic spots mentioned made me rate it a bit higher. We didn't try the food, so I can't say anything about it.

Service was poor and there was no response.

A bad smell is noticeable starting from the hotel reception and persists along the staircase. The odor inside the room is somewhat tolerable, but overall, the experience is very disappointing. The main problem was with cleanliness and upkeep. Even though the bed linen looked clean without stains, there was a constant unpleasant smell, and the room was heavily infested with bed bugs, making the stay very uncomfortable. For a hotel charging about ₹4,000 per night, this level of maintenance is unacceptable. Basic hygiene and pest control must not be neglected. If the management cannot keep the property up to standard, they should consider closing it until these problems are fixed.
