Good hotel with friendly staffs.Security was good; not like pretending to help and get money.Rooms are neat and clean.Proper pesticide done.Mangaloreans are more friendly compared to other parts, border shared culture with Kerala indeed.2 star for balcony; no use since balcony is facing other building with open window tailor center, where tailors of next building always faces you.

Rooms were premium with balcony, was spacious and very comfortable. Shoolin Grand is an amazing hotel with well-trained staff and good valet service. The team made us feel truly welcomed. Overall, the hotel has a premium feel, and the location is perfect for a convenient stay.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Hotel Shoolin. I stayed here with family between 12th and 14th Mar 2026. The room was good and the people at reception were too friendly and polite. It was a great welcome and good hospitality. Room, Restaurant and washrooms were clean. Only issue was with the breakfast. The taste was poor and options were limited. I would request the hotel authorities to please correct this. During this period, LPG issue was ON and hence I understand the difficulty to the hotel in arranging food. I appreciate the hotel for arranging breakfast to us in between the LPG crisis. After the crisis, I would request them to please improve the taste and options of breakfast.Parking space for cars available. Location is good - 800m from Mangalore central railway station. 2 malls are within 2 km radius.
