Good clean, peaceful hotel with all the necessary facilities.

Solo traveler • India • Apr 2026

The rooms are clean and new, value for money.

Solo traveler • India • Apr 2026

The rooms were spacious and clean, contributing to a comfortable stay, while the facilities available added great value. Shopping options nearby complemented the location well, though the Wi-Fi was unreliable and the bathroom could use some improvements. The view was underwhelming, but overall, the staff were friendly and helpful.

I am writing this review so future guests do not go through the humiliating, stress-inducing, and utterly disgraceful experience that Hotel Star Wood put me through. This is not merely bad service — this is systemic deceit and shocking negligence.I booked multiple rooms here for 27–29 November, more than 20 days in advance, through MakeMyTrip for my wedding guests — a time when everything needs to run smoothly. The hotel accepted the booking, confirmed it, and held my reservation for weeks without any issue. And then, just days before the stay, they abruptly denied my booking, claiming “maximum capacity.”Let me spell this out clearly:How can a hotel be “full” when they confirmed the booking weeks earlier? How can they hold a reservation for 20+ days and suddenly pretend they just realized they have no rooms? This is not incompetence — this is calculated malpractice.Hotels like this exploit dynamic pricing, dishonouring previously confirmed bookings so they can sell rooms at higher last-minute rates. It is a shameless money-driven betrayal of customer trust.Because of their reckless, irresponsible, and dishonest actions, I was left scrambling for accommodation for my wedding guests at the last moment. The emotional and logistical damage they caused is indescribable. Here’s what my real experience looked like:✔ Confirmed booking abruptly denied✔ No call, no apology, no alternative offered✔ No responsibility taken for their misconduct✔ Left stranded days before my wedding✔ Completely unprofessional, uncaring, and unethical behaviourHospitality is built on trust. This hotel has absolutely none.To anyone considering this hotel: DON’T.There are plenty of hotels in Rajkot that value customers.Hotel Star Wood is not one of them. They have demonstrated they are willing to betray confirmed guests without warning, without remorse, and without accountability. This establishment has permanently lost my trust, and I will make sure others are aware so they don’t suffer the same emotional distress and last-minute chaos that this hotel caused me.Avoid this hotel at all costs. It is a dangerous gamble with your time, money, and peace of mind.

If you ever wondered what it feels like to have your important plans destroyed at the last minute, or to experience master-level incompetence packaged as hospitality, look no further — Hotel Star Wood Rajkot is the gold standard.Truly, hats off.👏👏👏It’s not easy to reach this level of spectacular unreliability.I booked multiple rooms 20+ days in advance, fully paid, fully confirmed, for my wedding guests. You know, those people you actually care about? And Hotel Star Wood said:“Absolutely, sir! Everything is confirmed!”How heartwarming. Fast forward to just days before check-in and —🎉 SURPRISE! 🎉The hotel suddenly “realised” they have “no rooms.”Oh really? You confirmed the booking, held it for weeks, and then woke up one morning and thought:“Hmm… let’s ruin someone’s wedding week today!”Amazing. What a talent. Not every hotel can pull off this level of logistical blindness and moral flexibility.Let’s break down their brilliance: Hospitality Excellence by Hotel Star Wood Confirm bookings ✔Hold them for weeks ✔Cancel them last minute ✔Provide zero apology ✔Offer zero alternative ✔Cause maximum panic ✔Maintain complete silence while doing so ✔✔✔Truly an overachiever in customer distress. If “Hospitality Horror Show” were a college degree, these folks would graduate with honours. You would think a hotel in 2025 knows basic things like…Their own room availability 🤷‍♂️How calendars work 🗓️What “confirmed booking” means 📄But hey, Hotel Star Wood loves keeping guests on their toes.Who needs predictability when you can experience chaos? To the hotel management:I hope you frame my booking confirmation on your wall as a reminder of how not to run a hotel. You cancelled a wedding booking. A wedding. If this is your idea of service, maybe switch industries. Something less stressful, like… not dealing with humans. To future guests:If you enjoy:Last-minute heartbreakUnpredictable accommodation rouletteBeing treated like your booking is a jokeThen absolutely book here! You’ll love the thrill. But if you prefer your hotel to actually exist when you arrive…Go anywhere else. Literally anywhere.Hotel Star Wood Rajkot is a masterclass in how to torch your reputation in one stroke.Avoid like a pothole.Avoid like spam calls.Avoid like a mosquito in your ear at 2 a.m.Just avoid.
