The staff's attitude, body language, and communication with guests were very rude. Hospitality should start with respect, politeness, and making guests feel welcome, but I experienced the opposite during my stay. We are paying guests, not here for free, and the least a hotel can offer is basic professionalism and respect. My room was spacious, which I liked. However, the interior door handle is badly designed. When opening or closing the door, the handle and lock can easily pinch your fingers. This is a clear design flaw and a safety risk. I strongly recommend the management fix this before someone gets hurt. I was first given Room 213, but due to a sudden power outage, I had to move to Room 212. Although the room was spacious, the bathroom smelled terrible. The bedsheets and pillow covers were also in very bad condition, raising serious concerns about cleanliness and housekeeping. We had two rooms, and both had problems. The second room also had issues serious enough that we had to ask for another room change. About the reception, I wouldn't say the receptionist was rude, but she definitely lacked the behaviour and professionalism expected in hospitality. Guest handling was disappointing. While guests waited in the lobby, staff occupied the space, leaving little room for paying guests to sit. Also, the reception area was noisy with loud mobile phone notifications even while guests were waiting or talking to staff, creating an unprofessional atmosphere. One simple suggestion: please implement a proper staff dress code. This is a basic standard any hotel should have. With the current look and behaviour, it was hard to tell who was a guest and who was staff. The worst incident was when I called reception because there was no water in my bathroom. A staff member came but instead of using the doorbell, he banged on my door loudly three or four times. The knocking was so loud I thought something serious had happened outside the hotel. Only after those bangs did I realize it was my room. When I opened the door, he entered with an attitude that made me uncomfortable. I politely asked why he banged when there was a working doorbell. His look, body language, and response felt arrogant and intimidating, not professional. Having worked in hospitality, I think staff should be trained to make guests feel safe, respected, and comfortable, not uneasy or scared. This hotel has spacious rooms and potential for a good experience, but potential alone is not enough. Hospitality shows in staff attitude, room cleanliness, and guest treatment. Sadly, my experience was far below expectations. Management must realize guests are why this hotel runs. We paid for our stay and expected basic standards any good hotel offers. Treating paying customers with indifference or disrespect is not just bad hospitality—it is a total failure of customer service.
