Hoysala Village Resort

Excellent resort with incredibly kind & caring staff, we were served by Dore who was very kind & attentive. Jhothi makes the best paratha you have ever had & will happily show you how, all staff were so kind.The food is fantastic, lovely pool, rooms are very clean & the room cleaning team & manager are fantastic.Only small piece of feedback is the lighting is quite dark in the rooms. There is no wifi but if needed reception can provide a wifi dongle for use during stay which worked great. A fantastic, friendly place to stay, loved it, would stay again. Thank you all for looking after us so well.They helped provide cars for visiting temples & had great recommendations for shopping, sight seeing & trains for onward journey

Good service , and good food! loved their entry and exit formalities ’’ Helped with a guide for our tour. The room size is huge for a family of four, would have given a 5, except for the issue with AC , when we switched it on, entire room was fully covered with dust from it, made us all sneeze and fall sick the same day. They came to clean later but then the impact was already done ! They should probably take care of all these small things also. The room was real clean otherwise !

I was particularly struck by how seamlessly you have integrated first-class environmental sustainability with such refined traditional architecture. Walking through the resort felt like a journey back to a more gracious era; those tranquil inner courtyards and the "old-world" ease of the design are a rare find today.Two things, in particular, were very special to me:The Sai Baba Temple: Having such a serene and beautiful space for reflection added a spiritual dimension to our stay that I found incredibly grounding.The Eco-Friendly Philosophy: The way you’ve prioritized the planet without compromising on luxury or comfort is truly commendable.The dining experience also deserves a special mention. I was impressed by the restaurant’s layout; it has the capacity to hold many people, yet we never felt crowded. The staff there struck a perfect balance-they were attentive but restrained, allowing us to truly take our time and savor each meal in peace.Please extend our sincere thanks to the Chef for the wonderful meals and to those who waited on us at the table with such grace. This hotel/resort is located very conveniently between haleebidu and belur which gives you great connectivity to both the historical spots along with many other nearby tourist locations.They have a check-in and check out ceremony which is very sweet and inviting. They have really large spacious rooms however the amenities such as toiletries the WC the blankets are all outdated and needs a revamp urgently, as they are priced at premium for per room per night.The food was a total let down at this hotel, we decided to skip dinner here as the lunch was not tasting well. The people hotel staff are very welcoming and helpful in sorting out issues. They also help in contributing towards the itinerary planning as they have very good local knowledge.Place has good enough parking both inside and outside the property. You can also wash the vehicle here.It was good stay for a day. F & B needs major upgrade. The morning breakfast however was decent spread with multiple options available to choose from.
